Chad Tourin is President of the Private Client Group division of Coastal Wealth, a MassMutual firm.
As a former practicing CPA and attorney, Chad brings a wealth of knowledge to his financial planning practice, where he specializes in working with business owners and high net worth individuals. Chad develops customized strategies for the advanced planning needs of his clients and has extensive experience in asset protection, buy-sell and, exit planning, wealth management, executive benefits,l egacy planning, and premium financing.
Since joining Coastal Wealth in 2018, Chad has perennially ranked amongst the top financial professionals in the country, most recently being recognized for his sales achievements as 2020’s Advisor of the Year for Coastal Wealth. Nationally, he qualified for Blue Chip Council in 2019 and 2020 and became a member of Society 1851 in 2019 and 2020, or being recognized as one of the top 250financial professionals at Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company (MassMutual). Chad has also been published on various media outlets such as US News & Report, Yahoo Finance, Voyage MIA, and is regularly asked to provide commentary on the Mass Mutual blog.
Serving the organization and the community is a passion of Chad’s, particularly when it comes to providing financial education to underserved demographics. Chad is a regularly invited to speak at graduate level programs, most notably as the financial resource to several programs at Nova Southeastern University, where he educates the students on financial strategies to get their careers off to a fast start. He also regularly conducts workshops throughout the community, including interactive “Money Skills” events for young children to promote financial literacy in the youth.
Chad also helped form and serve on the Board of Directors for Team Henry and The Tooth Healer For Children Around the World, not for profits with the similar missions of improving the health and well-being of children. He is also actively involved at his synagogue, Temple Dor Dorim in Weston, FL. Chad graduated the University of Florida in 2007 with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in accounting and obtained his CPA* license in 2008. He later went on to attend Florida International University College of Law and in 2013 became a member of the Florida Bar. Chad lives in Weston with his wife, Katie and daughters, Olivia and Hannah. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, traveling, playing flag football, and watching his New York sports teams.
