Ryan Glynn is a Financial Advisor and one of the founding partners of Blue Chip Financial of Southwest Florida.  Ryan is originally from Portsmouth, VA and grew up in the Hampton Roads area.  He is a proud graduate of the Virginia Military Institute (VMI), where he achieved his Bachelor’s in Business/Economics in 1996.  Prior to his career in the financial services industry, Ryan played professional baseball for 15 years. He has spent time playing at the major league level with the Texas Rangers, Toronto Blue Jays, Oakland Athletics, and in Japan before retiring in 2009. 

Ryan’s practice is focused on building lifelong relationships with his clients.  Working together with his clients and educating them along the way, Ryan helps create a financial strategy to help achieve their personal or business goals.  Being the voice and advocate for his client’s aspirations, is of Ryan’s utmost importance.  Understanding every client is in a different situation and different phase of their life, Ryan’s experience and expertise help him guide his clients to develop a sound plan for their financial future.

Ryan, along with his wife Ashley Glynn (Blue Chip Financial Partner), reside in Fort Myers with his three sons Kyle, Kaden & Easton.  In his spare time Ryan enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and golfing.

Born and raised in Montego Bay, Jamaica, I attended the all-boys high school, Cornwall College where I studied Business. I then went on to study Marketing at the University of Technology of Jamaica. After college, I managed The Chemical Boys, a dance group that represented Jamaica numerous times internationally and was a favorite at local resorts. My professional career in Marketing started at the Coral Cliff Hotel and Entertainment Resort in Montego Bay. It also included stints with The Sunset Beach Resort and Spa, Kool Runnings Water Park, and Margaritaville Caribbean (Island Entertainment Brands/IEB).  

I discovered the financial services industry at MassMutual where I worked for two years in Internal Sales Support with one of their top producers. It was there that my passion for Marketing was rekindled. 

The first step in the planning process helps clients where they are today with the potential to meet or exceed their expectations. I help clients plan for their retirements and make them feel more secure about their future financial well-being.
