As a Para-Planner, you are responsible for reviewing an organizations or individual’s finances and developing a strategic plan to help them achieve and maintain their financial goals, including the identification of potential risks or opportunity for growth.

Duties:

  • Work directly with the firm’s head financial planner to support the firm’s financial planning department.
  • Work directly with the firm’s head financial planner to support the firm’s financial planning department.
  • Work with the firm’s advisors to enter client financial data and prepare a written financial plan.
  • Analyzing clients’ financial status, which includes documentation, expenses, liabilities, and income, to understand their specific needs.
  • Coordinate with firm departments/teams to implement investment and insurance solutions.
  • Collaboratively work with firm departments/teams and staff to collect, track, maintain, and keep client records updated.

  • Keep current with developments in financial products, tax law, and financial management strategies, particularly concerning retirement plans and estates.
